SOVA NIGHT GUARDS

My dentist recommended an occlusal splint for my night time teeth grinding. It's a fancy term for a night guard to justify an $790 cost. I asked a few people who had them made by dentists what they thought and most didn't use them, some due to comfort issues. I looked for alternatives and had a sports mouth guard at home I tried. I could sleep in it but is seemed uncomfortable due to the size in the mouth. These 1.6mm guards are excellent. It takes a few remoulds to get a good comfy fit (you've got 20 tries according to the instructions) but it does the job and is a lot more tolerable than a bulkier guard.

After trying multiple different brands we came across SISU for my 8 year old son who has braces and it has been by far the best fitting and comfortable mouth guard. Would highly recommend!

I was able to mould it first go and I find the night guard easy to wear at night. Previously I had one made up for me by a dentist. I stopped using it because it was too bulky. This one is much better and cheaper.

It’s exactly as described

An affordable way to prevent teeth grinding. Follow the video to fit it correctly and it works well.

The tray is easy to mold. It's pretty much like molding a mouth guard for football. It's very easy to use. I got the peroxide free version as I worried about my teeth being too sensitive for the other one. It did not irritate my teeth or gums at all. It's recommeded to use twice daily for 5 days for 10 minutes. The serum comes in 5 prefilled syringes for easy application. The serum is clear and sticky, reminded me a bit of slime. It does say after after the 5 days to apply once or twice weekly to maintain. I wouldn't say that my teeth look like Ross from that episode of friends, but I do feel like they are a whole shade whiter. And that seemed pretty impressive for a peroxide free formula. I would have posted a picture of my teeth, but I forgot to take a before photo.

After just two 10 minute applications of the Extreme white gel, I have already seen a difference. When they call this professional grade, I would absolutely agree! I’m a huge fan of the 10 minute applications that can be done in the morning on my way to work. This is the first whitening kit that I’ve used to recommend using twice a day, I like that too. It shortens the entire whitening process to just a few days. At first, I didn’t find the custom trays to be that comfortable. I realized that I wasn’t heating them up long enough to fit them properly to my teeth. Once they turn clear in the hot water, they become completely pliable and fit my teeth perfectly and keep that shape. Overall, for the price, these are a great value and one of the best whitening options I’ve used. I highly recommend this kit for a professional whitening option and I’m 100% happy with my purchase.

This is the same stuff for a lot less cost than what I got years ago at my old dentist's office. I did not use the trays that came with it as I actually still have my trays from the dentist I had custom made to fit my teeth exactly. Getting the trays to conform properly to your teeth is the key to the gel working.

If you have the trays fitting properly, you actually don't need much gel. Just a drop in each tooth imprint only. And have a cotton ball ready to put under your tongue as otherwise you'll be spitting out excess foam for ten minutes straight (pro tip). I've done a few treatments so far and I can tell the difference. I also got several 5ml syringes of gel. With my well fitting trays that conform to my teeth, even one syringe would last a long time because I don't need much to get it to work and spread out. If you can't get your trays to conform you may need the extra gel but I have so much that I'll just save it in case I need to repeat in a few months (I drink a lot of dark sodas).

I'm very happy with this so far and plan on purchasing this again in the future if needed (and when I run out).

My son and I were both grinding so I was quoted $800 each for a mouth guard ant the dentist (with zero back from my health fund) and told it would be far better quality than getting one anywhere else. I’m glad I decided to do further research because Sova has been terrific and given it would take me 16 years even if I had to buy one every year to spend $800 it’s absolutely worth it!!

No drying teeth and it stays way better than wax.

It was perfect. Much cheaper than getting one through the dentist, but just as good.

So helpful with removing my Invisalign aligners. Glad I got one.

This is to replace one I have had for 12 months and very happy with how it molds to my teeth so it is very comfortable and less expense than similar item through a dentist.
